The Lusail International Circuit is a permanent circuit in Lusail, Qatar. At 5.419 km long with 16 corners, the lap is run 57 times on race day. The circuit first appeared on the Formula 1 calendar in 2021. Situated 5 metres above sea level, the thin air shapes car setup throughout the race weekend.
Turn 1 — Tight right-hand hairpin at the end of the long main straight, the primary braking zone and overtaking spot on the circuit.
Turn 3 — Right-hand bend that feeds into the high-speed sweeping middle sector of the circuit.
Turn 4 — Fast right-hander at the top of the circuit, taken with high commitment at speed.
Turn 6 — Right-hander in the technical middle sector, requiring precise corner entry.
Turn 8 — Right-hand kink in the rapid sequence of corners through the back of the circuit.
Turn 9 — Left-hander continuing the flowing high-speed section requiring sustained commitment.
Turn 11 — Left-hander in the lower section, setting up the approach to the back complex.
Turn 13 — Tight left-hand hairpin, a key braking zone and secondary overtaking opportunity.
Turn 14 — Right-hander exiting the final hairpin complex, building speed onto the back straight.
Turn 16 — Final corner before the main straight, a right-hand sweep that sets up the lap.
