The Shanghai International Circuit is a permanent circuit in Shanghai, China. At 5.451 km long with 16 corners, the lap is run 56 times on race day. The circuit first appeared on the Formula 1 calendar in 2004. Situated 14 metres above sea level, the thin air shapes car setup throughout the race weekend.
This circuit has 10 mapped grandstand sections: Section H, Section K, Section J, Paddock Club, A Lower, A Upper, A Platinum, Section B, Section C, Section F.
